I am Moving On

I am saying goodbye to doing a premium substack after a year on the platform. I simply put too much time and energy into this newsletter without much return.

While I write for the love and sake of writing, I find that I just do not enjoy this publication like I use to. I am still going to send emails out from this site updating you on anything related to my latest post, newest Youtube videos/podcast episodes, and I’ll even share heartfelt excerpts from my medium blog.

However, if people want premium content from me I will be on Patreon.

Another goal coming into fruition is the fact I want to be more active on Youtube, in that case, Patreon might be superior. But I am not a graphic designer or video editor, I am first and foremost a writer.

Considering what I really want and need to succeed is difficult under the circumstances. However, with the success of the ebook I have to reconsider what I am doing. What is the point of a premium newsletter if it is not making much money? It isn’t all about the money but it is fair people get compensated for their work.

To me, it makes sense to double down on what is already working and try something new. So, I am already working on making the ebook available for kindle and paperback as well as writing the next ebook.

If I cannot make any money from a membership subscription I will just concentrate my efforts on making informational content aka ebooks, paperback books, and online courses.

My reasoning for wanting a membership platform, to begin with, is to build that sense of community with my followers. I really care about each and every one of you, I want a space for you to connect with me and get the best content I can create possible for you. If that is impossible then I will just focus on creating kickass content on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook while selling informational content.

Just to be clear I am not deleting this substack nor am I going to stop posting on it. There will just be no exclusive content just for this substack anymore, all exclusive content will be on Patreon.
